Commission a portrait

As one of Britain’s leading portrait artists Connie was chosen for the UK's exhibition; Oil Painter of the Year at The Mall Galleries and also chosen for the UK's Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the year TV show which is affiliated with the UK's National Portrait Gallery.

With most people today only ever seeing images of themselves or loved ones via a screen, the physical hand-made image is becoming increasingly precious. Now is the time to encapsulate yourself or a loved one in the beauty of paint. Connie creates portraits that at first glance parts of the image could be mistaken for a photograph, but upon close inspection you notice each brushstroke was meticulously blended to embody the sitter's essence and soul, quite unlike any photo ever could. A portrait commission can be simple, plain or abstract, or can encompass her unique surreal background, which can also be personalised to further express the sitter’s personality and interests. This is a gift like no other.

HOW DO YOU COMMISSION A PORTRAIT?

The process is simple, once you have discussed the personality of the sitter (whether that's you or a loved one!) you will work with Connie to either choose your favourite photograph or if suitable, Connie will do a photoshoot with the sitter, and you will both choose the final image that Connie will work from.  A 75% deposit is paid upfront and Connie will work until you are 100% happy with your original portrait. Payment plans available at checkout. Depending on Connie's availability and also the size of the painting, a portrait will usually take around 5-7 weeks to complete. If you need something done quicker, send Connie a message and she may be able to make it work. We can also help you with choosing the perfect frame for your timeless treasure. You are welcome to tell us your budget and she may be able to produce something to fit!
